Appeal for witnesses after man assaulted in Gosport
Officers are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was assaulted in Gosport.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary received a report that between 8:15pm and 9:15pm on Thursday 1 May, a man in his 30s was assaulted by two men who were not known to him at a bus stop outside Morrisons on Carisbrooke Road.
The man suffered injuries to his head and face and was knocked unconscious during the incident.
The men who assaulted him have been described as follows:
Man 1: White, 6ft tall. of muscular build, bald, wearing a red polo shirt
Man 2: White, 6ft tall, of muscular build, wearing a pink polo shirt and a hat
As part of our enquiries, we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or has any information that could assist us. We would also like to speak to anyone who may have CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage in the area from around this time.
