Do you recognise this man? Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary would like to speak with him after a police officer was assaulted in Beggarwood.

The officer was assaulted outside Co-op on Broadmere Road at around 8.30pm on Friday 18 July. He suffered cuts to his arms, elbows and shin.

Hampshire police believe the man in this image can help with there investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

The man has planet tattoos on his forearm and a giraffe tattoo on his lower leg.
