Woman, 45, arrested after officers carry out two drug warrants in Basingstoke
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after officers carried out two warrants in Basingstoke yesterday (6 August).
The Basingstoke Priority Crime Team, Dog Unit and public order officers executed the warrants on Redwood Avenue and Pinkerton Road following reports of drug-related activity.
No one was located in the addresses, however following a proactive patrol in the Rooksdown area, a woman linked to the Redwood Avenue address was stopped and searched.
Following the search, officers located approximately 40 wraps of suspected Class A drugs.
A 45-year-old woman from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.
She remains in custody while our enquiries continue.
