Do you recognise this man?

Hampshire Police would like to speak to him following a sexual assault in Southampton.

Police were called at around 7pm on Saturday 10 May, after a man approached two girls – aged 12 and 13 – who were sitting on a bench outside McDonald’s on Shirley High Street.

The man made inappropriate comments and placed his hands on the girls’ legs. When they tried to walk away, he followed them.

He is described as:
– White male, aged between 40 and 50
– Short grey/brown hair and a beard
– A visible scar on his face

At the time of the incident, he was wearing:
– Blue jeans
– A darker denim jacket
– A green polo top
– Black trainers

As part of our ongoing enquiries, we are releasing a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify and speak to.
