Man, 27, arrested after officers respond to suspicious vehicle reports in Farnborough

A man has been arrested after officers found suspected Class A drugs following reports of a suspicious vehicle in Farnborough this afternoon.

Officers from the Hart & Rushmoor Priority Crime Team attended North Farm Road following reports of a suspicious blue Citroen car just after 12pm today (19 August).

They located the vehicle and followed it across the border into Deepcut, Surrey. Due to suspicious circumstances at the scene, a search was carried out.

Officers located seven bags of suspected Class A drugs and 16 bags of suspected cannabis.

A 27-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and Class B.

He was also arrested on suspicion of using a vehicle without third party insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

The man remains in custody while our enquiries continue.
