Officers investigating a robbery in Whiteley are appealing for witnesses.

It was reported that one of the victims, a teenage boy, had listed his electric bike for sale online.

At around 7.30pm yesterday (October 30) two men arrived at his home address on Bluebell Way to buy the bike.

They have then assaulted the boy by punching him in the face and running away.

The boy’s father, a man in his 40s, has seen this and chased the offenders toward Dumas Drive into an alleyway. He was then also assaulted.

Officers attended Swanwick train station and saw two suspects fleeing the area, leaving the bike. Despite best efforts, they were not located.

The bike has been recovered.

They are described as being:
• An 18-year-old man, around 5ft 10ins, with light brown hair, wearing all black
• An 18-year-old man, around 5ft 7ins, wearing a black coat and grey jogging bottoms.

We have conducted several enquiries and are now asking the public for any information that may assist us.

Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you saw two people running from the station?
