Appeal for witnesses following attempted robbery in Gosport
Hampshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an attempted robbery in Gosport.
Police were called just before 9pm on Sunday 9 November to Morrisons on Forton Road.
It was reported a male had tried to steal several items and when he was confronted by staff and members of the public he brandished a Stanley knife.
A 37-year-old man from Fareham was arrested on suspicion of robbery. He remains in custody at this time.
