Appeal for witnesses to assault – High Wycombe

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault in High Wycombe.

At around 5.10pm on Wednesday, 12 November, a group of teenage boys assaulted a man in his sixties at the bus stop at the Eden Shopping Centre.

The victim sustained serious injuries requiring hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.

There were approximately six to seven offenders, all wearing dark clothing with their hoods up.

Investigating officer PC Aimee Squire, based at High Wycombe Police Station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident.

“If anyone saw this assault or the moments leading up to it, please get in touch with us.

“If you have information, please call 101 or make an online report via our website, quoting crime reference number 43250578791.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
