Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been sentenced for drug offences and possession of a knife in Slough. 

Lemarr Stevens, aged 24, of Common Road, Slough, was sentenced to three years and nine months’ imprisonment on Tuesday 20 January at Reading Crown Court. 

At a previous hearing at the same court on Monday 12 January, Stevens pleaded guilty to: 

. Two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled class B drug, namely cannabis 

. One count of possession with intent to supply a controlled class B drug, namely cannabis resin 

. One count of concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug 

. One count of possession of a knife in a public place 

At around 5.45pm on 5 February 2025, Stevens was chased by officers, following a request to stop, on the footpath leading from Grampian Way towards Common Road. 

Stevens was caught and underwent a Section 23 search, during which he was found to be in possession of £500 in cash, two grip seal bags, two yellow foil packets and a black foil packet, totalling to 14.33g of cannabis.  

Stevens was arrested the same day on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and released on bail. 

Officers retraced Stevens’ route and recovered a lock knife and a mobile phone, that contained evidence of drug supplying, which were discarded following him being chased.  

A Section 18 search was undertaken at Stevens’ home where a zombie knife, a samurai sword, a single pill of MDMA and 950.50g of cannabis, with a street value of £6000, were recovered. 

At around 12.20pm on 9 October 2025 at Coventry International Hub RMG, a parcel was intercepted by UK Border Force that contained 1.02kg of herbal cannabis, with a street value of £10,000, to Stevens with an address that was linked to him.  

At around 1.40pm on 17 December 2025, Stevens was stopped and searched for a Section 23 search on Grampian Way. A man bag containing seven individual deals of female flowering head cannabis, a digital weighing scale, £20 in cash and a phone, that contained evidence of drug supplying, were recovered. 

A Section 18 search was undertaken at Stevens’ address where unused drugs packaging, two heat sealing machines, cannabis labels and the same lids and tins used in cannabis deals that Stevens had on him at the time of his arrest. 

Stevens was charged and remanded in custody the following day for all the offences. 

Investigating officer, PC Joshua Bennett said: “Stevens was importing and supply class B drugs, showing complete disregard for the law and the harm these substances cause in our communities. 

“This result sends a clear message that we will continue to target those who choose to engage in drug‑related crime, and we remain committed to protecting our neighbourhoods from the harm these activities cause. 

“We will continue to proactively target those responsible, via both visible patrols and covert tactics, aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders.
