Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been sentenced for possession with intent to supply a class A drug in Aylesbury. 

Nertil Dervishi, aged 37, of no fixed abode pleaded guilty on 14 April 2026 to one count of possession with intent to supply a controlled class A drug, namely cocaine, at Aylesbury Crown Court. 

At the same court on Friday (12/6), Dervishi was sentenced to three years and four months imprisonment. 

At around 6.15pm on Thursday 12 March of this year, Dervishi was seen by officers conducting a drug deal on Penn Road in Aylesbury. 

Dervishi then travelled to BetFred in Aylesbury Town Centre, where he was arrested as he was placing a bet, and was subject to a Section 23 Misue of Drugs Act search. 

Following the search, officers seized eight deal bags of cocaine and £264 in cash. 

A Volkswagen Golf that Dervishi was driving was also subject to a search and cocaine, with a street value of £4,600, was seized. 

Dervishi was charged and remanded the following day (13/3). 

Investigating officer, PC Ben McNeill of the Aylesbury Stronghold Team said: “Thames Valley Police does not tolerate drug supply in Aylesbury, and I hope this sentence is a deterrent to other drug dealers.  

“The supply of drugs is a serious cause of harm, and it can often exploit the most vulnerable in our communities.   

“We will continue to proactively target those responsible, via both visible patrols and covert tactics, aimed at disrupting and pursuing offenders.”
