Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Aldershot.

Between 9am and 10am yesterday (Friday 10 July), a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man driving a black car on Lower Farnham Road near the junction with Herrett Street.

It was reported he repeatedly asked her where she was going before getting out of the car and touching her leg.

The girl pushed him away and quickly left the area, finding a member of the public to speak to who helped her.

We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or saw a black car in this area between 9am and 10am yesterday in suspicious circumstances.
