Appeal for witnesses following assault in Portsmouth
Officers investigating an assault in Portsmouth are appealing for witness and information which could assist their investigation.
Hampshire police received a report that between 7:00pm and 7:15pm on Monday 6 October, an altercation had taken place outside of a Chinese restaurant on Isambard Brunel Road involving a group of men and a woman in her 30s.
It was reported that a man from the group hit the woman, knocking her unconscious and causing a cut to her lip and head.
The man has been described as follows:
- White
- Aged between 18-35
- Average to larger build
- Very short dark hair
- Wearing a black and grey t-shirt with a reflective logo on the front and back, black and grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or has any relevant information, including CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
