Appeal for witnesses, information and footage following Basingstoke robbery

Hampshire police are appealing for witnesses, information and footage following a robbery in the subway on Winchester Road, Basingstoke.

During the incident, which occurred between 3.30pm and 4pm on Thursday 9 October, the victim – a man in his 40s – reported being approached by four men, who subsequently threatened him and stole two iPhone 17 Pro Max mobile phones.

The first man we’d like to speak to in connection with this incident is described as;

• White
• Aged between 18 and 25 years
• Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
• Slim build
• Wearing a dark hooded top, white shoes and a dark face mask with large eyeholes

The second man we’d like to speak to in connection with this incident is described as;

• White
• Aged between 18 and 25 years
• Approximately 5ft 9ins tall
• Slim build
• Wearing dark jogging bottoms, a dark hooded top, white trainers and a dark face mask with large eyeholes

The third man we’d like to speak to in connection with this incident is described as;

• Black
• Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
• Slim build
• Wearing dark clothing and a dark face mask with large eyeholes

The fourth man we’d like to speak to in connection with this incident is described as;

• White
• Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
• Slim build
• Wearing dark clothing and a dark face mask with large eyeholes
