Atlanta punk band Upchuck will release their new album and Domino debut I’m Nice Now this Friday, October 3rd, and today their share a final preview, the single “New Case.” Lead singer KT’s groove-heavy cadence is found on “New Case,” which, with its walking bass line feels like a punk cousin of something funky Quincy Jones once cooked up. That the song is both blazingly melodic while sounding authentically fuzzy is credit to the album’s producer Ty Segall. The track comes with an incredible Claymation video by the animator Cissi Efraimsson.

I’m Nice Now includes the previously released singles “Tired,” “Plastic,” “Forgotten Token,” and “Un Momento.”The album is available to pre-order on limited-edition silver vinyl, standard black vinyl, CD and digitally.
