Choose you this Valentine’s Day: Fall in love with being active
Wiltshire Council is spreading the love this Valentine’s Day with an offer that is guaranteed to get hearts racing.
People across Wiltshire are being encouraged to prioritise their physical and mental health this Valentine’s Day by joining their local Wiltshire Council leisure centre – with a special offer available to help them get started. Whether people are choosing wellness for themselves or teaming up with a partner, it’s the perfect time to begin a healthy new routine.
This February, people are being asked to make a commitment that lasts longer than flowers and chocolates. Between Friday 6 and Sunday 22 February, new members can enjoy £25 off with no admin fee to pay on selected Direct Debit memberships. With friendly centres, expert staff and welcoming communities, it is easier than ever for people to stay active and motivated, whatever their goals.
Cllr Mel Jacob, Cabinet Member for Communities, Engagement and Corporate Services, said: “Encouraging people to prioritise their own health is a key focus of Our Wiltshire Plan. So, this Valentine’s Day, why not take the first step towards a healthier you? Whether you’re starting solo or joining with a partner, falling in love with fitness is one commitment that really stands the test of time. Our leisure centres offer everything you need to feel stronger, happier and more energised and our teams are ready to support you every step, or squat, of the way.”
“We are committed to supporting people on their journey to better health and wellbeing, and our centres offer something for everyone – from gym sessions and swims to a wide range of fitness classes.”
