Fareham Live Wins ‘Regeneration Project of the Year’ at South Coast Property Awards
Fareham Borough Council is proud to announce that Fareham Live has been named ‘Regeneration Project of the Year’ at the 2025 South Coast Property Awards.
The prestigious event, organised by The Business Magazine in partnership with Insider, saw entries from across the region. The award-winning submission for Fareham Live was entered by Stride Treglown, the architectural firm involved in the venue’s transformation.
Judges praised the project as “a brave, bold and significant expenditure with the ultimate aim of providing both community benefit and kick-starting urban regeneration in an existing town centre. It’s a development that provides both local and regional pride, whilst also bringing economic benefit to the area for years to come.”
Councillor Simon Martin, Leader of Fareham Borough Council, expressed his delight: “I’m thrilled that one of the key architectural firms behind Fareham Live has received this recognition. It’s particularly rewarding to see the judges acknowledge the extensive work that went into creating a true community venue. Fareham Live has already had a transformative impact on our town centre, and I’m pleased to see the architects who helped bring it to life honoured in this way. Congratulations to Stride Treglown.”
Ben Jepson, Associate Director Architect at Stride Treglown, added: “We’re incredibly proud to celebrate this achievement alongside Fareham Borough Council. The team at our Winchester studio played a vital role in delivering this ambitious project. Winning this award is fantastic recognition of a landmark development that contributes significantly to Fareham’s long-term vision.”
Fareham Live has quickly become a cornerstone of the town’s revitalisation efforts, offering cultural, economic, and social value for the community and the wider region.
