FELDSPAR Celebrate World Food Day On New Single ‘Pasta Day’

Rome hardcore collective FELDSPAR are delighted to return with their new single ‘Pasta Day’, set for release on World Food Day, 16th October 2025, via Time To Kill Records.

The track is the first taste of a new chapter for the band—raw, tense, and intentionally unresolved. It’s a transitional single, holding onto the grit and urgency of their previous work while hinting at the shift that’s coming.

Recorded and mixed at Black Water Studios by Nick Terry—known for his work with Turbonegro, The Libertines, The Stone Roses, Peaches, and Feldspar’s 2024 debut album Old City New Ruins—‘Pasta Day’ carries forward the sonic and social direction of Feldspar, blending hardcore urgency with spoken word intensity and anthemic hooks.

Commenting on the track, front man Riccardo Zammuri says: “A plate of pasta is more than food. It’s a gesture. It means sharing, care, and inclusion. ‘Pasta Day’ takes this powerful symbol and flips it into a protest anthem: a reminder not to forget those who are too often left behind in our cities and capitals. It’s a song about informal solidarity, the kind that happens between peers, and about the vital role of organized, structured support systems in today’s fractured society.”

The official video for ‘Pasta Day’ is directed by Roberto “Saku” Cinardi. One of Italy’s most acclaimed music video directors, he has collaborated with platinum artists like Lacuna Coil, Verdena and many more. Saku’s lens captures the raw emotion of the track through a poetic, urban visual narrative—a portrait of community resilience, small gestures, and shared dignity.

The band have also today announced a run of Winter 2025 ‘Pasta Day’ headline tour dates, with tickets on sale now (see below for listings), including appearances at HomeFront Festival, Rebirth Fest and more.

Feldspar are a Rome-based hardcore collective with members from the US, UK, and Italy. Their sound sits somewhere between Drug Church, Scowl, and One Step Closer, channeling high-energy riffs and community-driven lyrics.

Their 2024 debut album Old City New Ruins (Time To Kill Records) was met with international critical acclaim, and the band are currently putting the finishing touches to their soon-to-be-announced sophomore album.
