Four arrested after officers locate suspected Class A drugs in Basingstoke property

Four people have been arrested after officers found suspected Class A drugs inside a Basingstoke address yesterday.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight police attended a property on Winterthur Way on 6 November and located suspected Class A drugs, a knife and more than £2,400 in cash. All items were seized and four people were arrested.

A 23-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and Class B, possessing a controlled drug of Class B and possessing a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place.

A 16-year-old boy from Luton was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

A 16-year-old boy from Axminster was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

A 15-year-old boy from London was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.

They have been bailed with conditions, to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
