Four charged with kidnap and other offences – Windsor
Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, three men and one boy have been charged in connection with a kidnap and other offences in Windsor.
Lewis Leighton, aged 20, of Dedworth Road, Windsor, has been charged with one count of kidnap, one count of blackmail, one count of false imprisonment, one count of possession of a bladed article and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been remanded to prison.
Tommy Jones, aged 22, of Greenfinch Close, Sandhurst, has been charged with one count of kidnap, one count of blackmail, one count of false imprisonment, one count of possession of a bladed article and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been remanded to prison.
A 17-year-old boy from Windsor has been charged with one count of kidnap, one count of blackmail, one count of false imprisonment and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has since been released on conditional court bail.
Joshua King, aged 18, of Crescent, Windsor, has been charged with one count of kidnap, one count of blackmail, one count of possession of a bladed article and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has since been released on conditional court bail.
The charges relate to a kidnap that occurred at around 7pm on 28 October in Windsor.
They are due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 2 December.
Another 17-year-old boy from Windsor was arrested and has been released on police bail until 22 January 2026.
