Let’s Talk Progress: Fareham Town Centre Panel – extended with prizes to be won!

Last Updated: August 15, 2025By

Fareham Borough Council has extended the deadline to join its Town Centre Perception Panel until 12 September 2025.

This exciting initiative invites residents, workers, students, and visitors to Fareham Town Centre to share their views and help shape the future of the area. The panel is part of the Council’s ongoing Town Centre Regeneration Strategy and aims to ensure that future improvements reflect the needs and aspirations of the community.

The Council is looking for a diverse group of people from all backgrounds, ages, and experiences to apply. It would particularly like to hear from those aged 16-24 who care about the future of Fareham Town Centre and would like to be involved.

As an added incentive, all individuals who have already applied along with new applicants, up until 12 September, will be entered into a prize draw. The winner will be able to choose from a selection of vouchers up to the value of £100 for an evening out in Fareham town centre, which could include:

  • A dinner for two at a Fareham food venue of your choice
  • Tickets to a show at Fareham Live
  • Tickets to see the latest blockbuster movie at Reel Cinema, Fareham
  • A game of bowling for two at Bowl Central, Fareham

Participants in the Town Centre Perception Panel will be invited to complete brief surveys twice a year to help the Council understand how the perception of the Town Centre is changing as regeneration work progresses. Those interested in joining the panel are encouraged to apply online at www.fareham.gov.uk/towncentreregen by 12 September 2025.

Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, Cllr Simon Martin said: “We want to hear from all people who live, work, and spend time in Fareham. Your views will help shape the future of our town centre and ensure it remains a vibrant and welcoming place for everyone. Young people especially play a crucial role in the future of Fareham, and your voice is vital in shaping what that future looks like. We want to build a town centre that reflects your needs, your ideas, and your ambitions. By joining the Town Centre Perception Panel, you’ll help us create a space that works for you – now and for years to come. I strongly encourage anyone aged 16 to 24 to get involved and help us build a better Fareham.”
