Man, 24, arrested after officers find drugs during proactive stop in Farnborough
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following a proactive stop in Farnborough on Saturday.
Officers were on patrol when they noticed a Vauxhall Corsa, which had been linked to drug supply, on Farnborough Road at around 1pm on 2 August.
Following suspicious circumstances at the scene, a search was carried out and officers located suspected Class A and B drugs, £300 and two mobile phones. All items were seized.
A 24-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of:
- Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A
- Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B
- Use a vehicle on a road without third party insurance
- Use a vehicle on a road without a seat belt fitted
He has been bailed with conditions to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
