Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged with multiple rapes and other offences. 

Andrew Dent, aged 54, of Desborough Road, High Wycombe, has been charged with nine counts of rape, five counts of sexual assault by penetration, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of voyeurism on Tuesday (24/2). 

The charges relate to two women being raped, sexually assaulted, strangled and assaulted on separate occasions after meeting on a dating website or application.  

One of the victims, who is in her thirties and from South Wales, was attacked, and had intimate photographs of her taken without her consent, in a hotel in West Berkshire on the evening of 19 June 2024. 

While the other victim, who is in her fifties and from London, was at an address in Henley-on-Thames on the evening of 26 October 2024.  

Dent was remanded in custody after being charged and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday (4/3).
