Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been jailed for drug dealing in Aylesbury.

Shane Wrenn, aged 31, of Millway Furlong, Haddenham, has been jailed for two and a half years following a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday (13/2).

In the same hearing, Wrenn pleaded guilty to one count each of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, namely cocaine, and possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, and possession of criminal property.

On 11 November 2025, officers from the Roads Policing Team, Aylesbury Proactive Team and Aylesbury Neighbourhood Team arrested Shane Wrenn after he fled from his vehicle on Bedwyn Walk in Aylesbury. He was found to have discarded cocaine with an estimated street value of £1,600 and was also carrying a large quantity of cash. During interview, he made full admissions relating to the supply of drugs.

Wrenn was charged the same day.

Investigating officer PC Alicia Foster said: “I’m pleased that our officers acted quickly to stop Shane Wrenn and removed an offender from the streets of Aylesbury.

“We will continue to target those involved in drug dealing, using both visible patrols and covert tactics to disrupt their activity and bring them to justice. Our message is simple: if you deal drugs, we will identify you and we will take action.

“The public also play a crucial role in helping us tackle this issue. If you have any information about drug dealing in your area, please contact us on 101 or use the online reporting service on our website.”
