Man jailed for robbery – Slough
Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been jailed for robbery in Slough.
Gurprinder Singh, aged 26, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to one count of robbery and was sentenced to three years and eight months’ imprisonment at Reading Crown Court last Friday (28/11).
On 28 July this year, Singh entered a local shop in Slough, threatened staff and stole a large quantity of cigarettes and tobacco.
Investigator Shan Ugra said: “I am pleased that Singh has been convicted and given a custodial sentence by the courts.
“The victims in this case have shown great bravery in the face of violence.
“Thames Valley Police are committed to bringing offenders such as Gurprinder Singh to justice.”
