Suspected Class A drugs and weapon found following vehicle stop in Farnborough
Two 17-year-olds were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences after officers stopped a vehicle in Farnborough.
Officers on were on patrol at around 11am on Tuesday 2 December, when they noticed a vehicle travelling in Fernhill Road. They stopped the vehicle in Blunden Road and detained the two people inside.
Suspected Class A drugs, a machete-style knife and mobile phones were found in the vehicle.
A 17-year-old boy from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was also arrested on suspicion of drug driving, using a motor vehicle without third party insurance and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
The second 17-year-old boy, from Bognor Regis, West Sussex, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon.
Both have since been released on police bail with conditions while further enquiries take place.
