Your Service, Your Say – help us make life safer with our brand-new people’s panel
We are excited to launch our brand-new people’s panel, Your Service, Your Say, a new way for you to share your thoughts on Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
Your feedback helps shape local services, ensuring we meet the needs of our communities.
Residents in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and aged 18 or older, can sign up now to take part in our online surveys, focus groups and feedback sessions.
There are many different communities that stretch across our counties, and we want to reach all of them to ensure the panel reflects the people we serve.
Deputy Chief Fire Officer Shantha Dickinson said: “Our communities are at the heart of the work that we do.
“We are always looking for new ways to improve, so it is important that we reach out to those we serve to understand how we can do things differently to make life safer across our area.
“The new people’s panel, Your Service, Your Say, will see us engage with residents in a way in which we have never done before.”
Those who sign-up will receive quarterly online surveys, and will be updated on how their views have helped to improve how we make life safer.
There are also plans to send invitations to take part in future focus groups and workshops.
Your Service, Your Say is designed to reach local people who have no link to the organisation, with staff and volunteers utilising internal feedback surveys to submit their valued views.
The sign-up form can be found on our website, and includes demographic data to help us ensure the panel is representative of our population.
More information about how we will use the data can be found on the privacy notice of our website.
