Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary are appealing for witnesses following a suspected arson in Romsey.

Officers were called at 5:15pm yesterday (29/06) to a report of two fires at Abbotswood Nature Reserve.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the fires, and no injuries have been reported.

Since the report officers have been carrying out a number of enquires and believe a small group of children were in the area at the time.

As part of the ongoing enquires we would like to appeal for witnesses.
