Man, 25, arrested on suspicion of drug offences in Yateley
A man has been arrested after officers located suspected Class A drugs following a proactive stop in Yateley.
Officers spotted suspicious activity linked to a Ford Focus in Fleet at around 12.15am yesterday (1 July).
The car was later stopped on the A30 in Yateley, and due to suspicious circumstances at the scene, a search was carried out.
Officers located £675 in cash and a black sock which contained eight bags of suspected Class A drugs. All items were seized.
A 25-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and possessing a controlled drug of Class A.
He was also arrested on suspicion of driving with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
The man has been bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.
