A teenage boy has been arrested and safeguarded after officers found suspected Class A drugs and more than £800 inside a Basingstoke property.

We attended a property on Bennet Close, Oakridge, on Friday 30 January and located more than 100 wraps of suspected Class A drugs and £840 in cash. All items were seized.

A 15-year-old boy from London was arrested on suspicion of:

• Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A
• Being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug
• Acquire / use / possess criminal property
