A 50-year-old man from Eastleigh has been charged with sexual assault and two counts of engaging in sexual communications with a child.

Peter Sibanda, of Twyford Drive, appeared at Southampton Crown Court on Wednesday morning (10 June).

He was remanded in custody to next appear at Southampton Crown Court on Tuesday 7 July.

The charges follow reported incidents on Wells Place and Factory Road, Eastleigh on Saturday evening (5 June).

It’s reported that a man approached teenage girls, inappropriately touching a 16-year-old and making sexual remarks towards a 13-year-old and 14-year-old.
