Everyone Active brings popular Reformer facility to Woking Leisure Centre
A brand-new Reformer studio is set to open at Woking Leisure Centre this spring.
The purpose-built space will feature 16 Reformer machines, with classes expected to begin in mid-May.
The centre, which is managed by Everyone Active on behalf of Woking Borough Council, has recently seen a wide range of improvements, as part of a £1.2 million investment.
The upgrade includes a fully refurbished, state-of-the-art gym featuring the latest Life Fitness, alongside fully refurbished group exercise studios, including a new group cycling studio with brand-new Keiser bikes.
Reformer is performed on a specialist machine with adjustable resistance and a moving platform, offering a versatile workout that can be adapted to suit all fitness levels.
Known for helping to strengthen the core, improve flexibility and support rehabilitation, Reformer is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
Daniel Healy, Everyone Active’s Contract Manager, said: “We’re excited to bring Reformer to Woking Leisure Centre and make this versatile workout accessible to the local community.
“Reformer truly is for everyone, whether you’re just starting your fitness journey, looking to enhance your routine, or recovering from an injury. The Reformer machine’s adaptability ensures sessions can be as gentle or challenging as needed, making it an ideal option for people of all ages and fitness levels.”
The new studio will initially launch with FitCore classes, designed to provide an accessible introduction to full-body strengthening for all abilities.
This will be followed in the coming months by the introduction of EA Ignite – a more advanced, higher-intensity workout, with sessions that can be adapted to individual fitness levels and goals.
Further details about the studio’s grand opening will be announced closer to the launch date.
