Officers from our neighbourhood team in Stockport have arrested two suspects after an e-bike and two stolen motorbikes have been recovered.

Following a search of an address on the Bridge Hall Estate, we located the bikes at the rear of the property and a quick search of our systems showed that they were suspected stolen.

A 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft and handling stolen goods. They have been bailed pending further investigations.

Detective Sergeant Tarr from our Stockport Neighbourhood crime team: “We have been doing a significant amount of work around stolen motorbikes and e-bikes in the area, so to take these stolen vehicles off the streets is a massive positive for us.
