Man charged with murder over Sidcup death
A man has been charged in connection with a murder in Sidcup.
Police were called around 01.00hrs on Monday, 25 May, to reports of an assault outside a public house in Station Road.
Stuart Tickner, 50, was found unconscious at the scene. He was taken to hospital, where he sadly died on Saturday, 30 May.
His next-of-kin are aware, and are being supported by specially-trained officers.
On Sunday, 21 June, Liam Burgess, 36 (28.09.1989), of Dovedale Close, Harefield, was charged with murder and possession of a weapon in a public place.
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 22 June.
Burgess has been remanded in custody, ahead of an appearance at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 24 June.
